Curious about the symbolism behind our team’s logo?
American colonists began importing pineapples from the Caribbean in the 17th century and it soon became a symbol of hospitality, warmth and friendliness. Because trade routes were slow and perilous, it was considered to be a significant achievement for a host to procure a ripe pineapple for their guests. Similarly, there are accounts of sea captains who, upon returning from Caribbean or Pacific trade routes, would place a pineapple outside their homes as a symbol of a safe return.
When deciding what symbol best represents our dedication to clients, hospitality and home, the pineapple was a natural fit!
